- Whitney Shephard invited Rotarians to Sunday Funday on Feb 23rd at Green Truck Pub to benefit Savannah Tree Foundation. Suzanne Kirk gave the poutine 2 thumbs up!

- Cari Clark Phelps announced the opening of a second location for her store, Salacia Salts, at 148 Abercorn Street
- Denise Grabowski thanked everyone for supporting her in her campaign for a seat of the Savannah/Chatham County Public School Board
- Lee Perry announced that he's running for Chatham County Tax Commissioner
- Jordan Chase and Julie Wade is throwing a fundraising party to support fellow Metrotarians running for office - Denise Grabowski and Lee Perry (and anyone else who wants to jump into a 2020 race). The event takes place on Tues, March 3 from 5:30-7:00 at the Wade's residence on 3410 Abercorn Street (house is at 51st and Vetsburg - facing a park that faces Abercorn). The event is limited to Metrotarians and spouses/partners, but is not an official Metro event. Check your emails for more information. There are opportunities for host sponsorships.
