  • Erika Morrow bragged on Cari Phelps for her success in selling the retail portion of her business Salacia Salts. Erika invited us to their ForSight Eye Care & Eyewear event on Feb. 13th featuring a frame maker event, chair massages, etc. Link: Love That Frame - A Sweet Theo Frame Show Erika also added that the Savannah Center for Blind and Low Vision's "Dining in the Dark" on Jan. 30 was their lowest-attended event, but they raised great funds! 
  • Leigh Acevedo spoke on behalf of Green Truck Pub: they have 2 servers on leave and Whitney is matching the GoFundMe funds and donating a portion of revenue to their funds. Link to Feb. 4 event
  • Julie Wade gave a shout out to Patton Dugas for recommending a financial advisor for Tharros Place.
  • Mia Mance also seconded the love for Cari Phelps. She invited us to the next Savannah Downtown Business Association meeting on Feb. 12th, 11:30am-1:00pm; St. Patty’s Day To Go Cups are ready for sale. Link to register for meeting 
  • Molly Knutson bragged on how many Metro members showed up at Emmaus House and all that was accomplished that morning!
  • Cari Phelps announced she is focusing on production and workshops for Salacia Salts. She can accommodate up to 40 people. She needs folks on March 5th from 1:00-3:30 to help with her workshop. Please reach out to her directly if you are interested.
  • Suzanne Kirk bragged on George Seaborough and they had a great time at the Citizen Advocacy Oysters on the Bluff annual oyster roast. Also, one month from today is the United Way's Women Who Rule event on March 4. Suzanne is the chair of the event this year. Even if you don’t attend you can still contribute to Fuel the Fund HERE.
