  • Jessica Pedigo announced that she and Cari Phelps are helping Amelia Harper chair the Might 8th Gala on May 11th.  Amelia's father asked her to chair the gala before he passed away.  He was very involved in the museum and was serving as chairman of the board when he passed. The Gala will be an open bar and seated dinner, with a silent and live auction - including raffle tickets for $50 for a trip to Napa! This year's theme is the 75th anniversary of D-Day and the event will also include a special tribute to Amelia's father.   • Kelley Boyd announced that Savannah Yoga Center is expanding the first floor of its current building and will be expanding current classes to include Healthy Aging Yoga classes, qigong, and a retail store called Ordinary Magic - all slated to open May 2019!
  • Jessica Thomas bragged on Will Gruver's LLS Man of the Year All-Star campaign and announced the fundraiser Oyster Roast for a Cure on Sat, April 27 from 5-9 PM at the Dutch Island Pool.  $40 per person and you can pay cash, check, or Venmo to @Will-Gruver. There'll be oysters, BBQ, beer and wine, as well as live music by Patrick Connell.
  • Leigh Acevedo bragged on the Rotary Read-In and gave kudos to all the Rotarians who participated in reading to our elementary schools!
  • Jenny Woodruff bragged on the volunteers (Jamie Arkins, Sam Carroll, Chris Corey, and Jake Crawley) for volunteering at the Musical Explorers Fam Jam session!  Get excited because the Savannah Music Festival is here!
