He was the founding partner of both the ECHL Orlando Solar Bears, Jacksonville Icemen, and now Savannah Ghost Pirates. Other projects have included pro tennis, Bermuda Music Festival and consultant for several AHL teams and organizations. He has been involved in all aspects of managing teams including hockey administration, marketing, sales, media relations and overall management. Ohrablo is most proud of how his teams have become involved in the community. With active involvement in non-profit organizations such as the American Cancer Association, Autism Cares, The Donna Foundation, Night to Shine, and more, the Ghost Pirates look forward to partnering with Savannah’s local charities and serving on Boards of Communities. Ohrablo lives in Jacksonville Beach with his wife, Dr. Sue Ohrablo, an education consultant and author of several books on insuring college success. Their daughter, Liz, is a tax accountant for DHG. |

Brunswick native serves as the Chief Executive Officer for the Coastal Empire Habitat for Humanity, Inc. located in Savannah, GA. There he is responsible for leading the mission Developing and Implement Strategic Vision; Recruiting, Managing and Supporting people implementing Habitat Savannah’s Strategic and operational plans. Mr. Samples is an active member of the community. He is a Past-President of his Rotary club, member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. and deeply involved with the work of his church. This Leadership Savannah graduate was named Most Outgoing in the Susan G. Komen Big Wig Campaign 2019, designated a Rising Leader by the Brunswick NAACP, Georgia Southern University’s 40 under 40 class of 2020, and 2022 recipient of the George and Linda Armstrong Award. He has received a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Education from Armstrong Atlantic State University, now Georgia Southern University – Armstrong Campus. In his free time, he enjoys learning about community development and pouring into the lives of tomorrow’s leaders in afterschool and mentoring programs. He truly has a heart for people and a natural desire to serve the community. He states, “My ultimate goal is to be an advocate for my community, helping people help themselves and each other.” |
