Georgia Rotary Student Program  (GRSP)

We’ll begin our club meeting at 11:30 AM, featuring a special experience with food from Julio’s home country, followed by his brief GRSP reflection.

Julio will prepare heritage-inspired dishes and share a short presentation reflecting on what he describes as an exceptional year in Savannah.

**If anyone would like to come help cook and prep that morning, reach out to Suzanne.**

Following Julio’s presentation, we’ll hear about the upcoming 2026 TEDxSavannah from the TEDxSavannah organizing committee.

ABOUT TEDxSAVANNAH
Currently celebrating its 15th anniversary, TEDxSavannah is an independently organized celebration of ideas worth spreading based on the international TED talk phenomenon. The popular annual event was originally developed under the name TEDxCreativeCoast, but a group of local TEDx supporters and community action heroes renamed it "TEDxSavannah" in the fall of 2015 to more closely link it to the Hostess City. The 2026 all-volunteer organizing committee includes Cecilia Arango, Sainyam Arora, Chris Bass, Kewaan Drayton, Fitz Haile, Allison Hersh, Fred Hodge, Suzanne Kirk, Jessica McBride, Destiny Mojica, Joe Steffen, and Hannah Whitehead.

ABOUT TEDx
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks videos and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.
