DESCRIPTION:This recurring Wednesday lunchtime volunteer opportunity is wit
 h our Annual Service Partner\, Shelter from the Rain. Spend your lunch bre
 ak with a couple of Metro pals and hand out diaper and pantry supplies to 
 area moms in need.  While you're there\, plan to fill out cards of encour
 agement and help with organizational tasks.  Children 6 and up are welcom
 e to come along so long as they remain under adult supervision. You will n
 eed to complete a background check in order to participate.  Use the link
  below to order your report. You'll follow the basic steps and the backgro
 und check paperwork will be emailed directly to you.  The process takes o
 nly a few minutes and can be done on the day of your volunteer work if nec
 essary (although not ideal).  Send the verification to Megan Lipsey at m
 egan@shelterfromtherain.com prior to arriving at The Front Porch.  This b
 ackground check will be good for a full year from the date that you order 
 it.  No need to re-submit for future volunteer events with SFTR! Metro Ro
 tary will reimburse you for the $19.95 cost of the background check.  Sim
