Anne Kuhlke-Lee and the other members of the service partner selection committee have completed interviews and narrowed the list from 18 applicants to three finalist organizations:

1) Coastal Empire Habitat for Humanity - This is the largest organization of the three with a mission to bring people together to build homes, communities and hope. Service projects will consist of quarterly construction projects (week day and weekend) and funds will be used for landscaping and construction materials. Children under 16 may not paricipate in service projects other than to provide lunch to volunteers.
2) Loop It Up Savannah - This is a small, young community arts program and is the most flexible of the three partners in terms of how we work with them. Service projects would primarily focus on helping children construct Book Box Library Projects and improving the new Community Art Center. Children and adults can participate in service projects. Funds would go towards the supplies and improvements made at the Community Art Center.
3) Safe Kids Savannah is a local coalition whose mission is to prevent accidental childhool injuries and deaths. Service opportunities for youth and adults would primarily consist of assisting at children's events that promote safety (triathlon, bike rodeo, walk/bike to school day, child car checks). Funds would be used to establish a safety store (co-branded with Metro) that supplies items such as bicycle helmets, child passenger safety seats, in‐home safety products, and medical alert bracelets.
